The Slaters (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Woodstock (Woodstock, VT). The Wasps enter the SVL-B battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Woodstock was edged by Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Chieftains meet the Twin Valley Wildcats (Wilmington, VT) in a SVL-C match, on Tuesday, September 9. Green Mountain will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Otter Valley (Brandon, VT).
