Indiana High School Soccer - Shelbyville toppled by Franklin Central
September 4, 2025: Indianapolis, IN 46259 Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), 10-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Franklin Central advances its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Flashes travel to Zionsville (Zionsville, IN) to face the Eagles in a Hoosier Crossroads game on Tuesday, September 9. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-3. Zionsville won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pike (Indianapolis, IN)
With the loss, Shelbyville moves to 2-4 on the year. The Golden bears host Delta (Muncie, IN) to battle the Eagles in a Hoosier Heritage contest on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 5-1. Delta won 5-0 in their recent non-league contest against Richmond (Richmond, IN)
