September 4, 2025: Alliance, OH 44601 The Howland Tigers edged the host Marlington Dukes soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Padua Franciscan for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Howland will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Marlington moves to 4-1 on the year. The Dukes travel to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Poland Seminary won 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against West Branch (Beloit, OH)
