The Wildcats now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. New Hanover will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-1.
The Rampants (1-5) will now prepare for their game against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons come into the non-league game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, C.B. Aycock edged North Johnston (Kenly, NC), 5-0, in a non-league game.
