September 4, 2025: Sherwood, OR 97140 Sherwood Bowmen (Sherwood, OR) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sherwood improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bowmen travel to West Linn (West Linn, OR) to confront the Lions in a 6A Three Rivers outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 2-0. West Linn won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR)
Next up, the Mountain Lions confront the Jesuit Crusaders (Portland, OR) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 9. McDaniel will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Central Catholic (Portland, OR).
