Missouri High School Soccer - Nixa knocks off Monett
September 4, 2025: Nixa, MO 65714 Nixa Eagles (Nixa, MO) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Monett Cubs (Monett, MO), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Nixa advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Fighting Irish come into the test with a record of 5-0. Springfield Catholic won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO)
The Cubs now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lighthouse Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Monett will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to New Covenant Academy (Springfield, MO). The Chargers record now stands at 2-3.
