Georgia High School Softball - Howard topped by West Laurens
September 4, 2025: Macon, GA 31210 West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) fans exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad knock off the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), 20-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Raiders play the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. West Laurens will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA).
With the loss, Howard moves to 2-7 on the season. The Huskies travel to Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA) to confront the Demons in a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. The Demons come into the battle with a record of 8-7. Warner Robins lost 12-0 in their recent non-league battle against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)
