Missouri High School Softball - Palmyra edges Mark Twain
September 4, 2025: Palmyra, MO 63461 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, MO) and the visiting Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO), saw Palmyra's softball squad nip Mark Twain by a score of 4-2.
With the triumph, Palmyra improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Van-Far (Vandalia, MO) to face the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Van-Far lost 13-1 in their recent non-league bout against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Marion County Mustangs (Philadelphia, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 8. Mark Twain will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 9-7 non-league win over Bevier (Bevier, MO).
