In Thursday's league test, the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Eagles clash with the George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 6. Stratford Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 9-3 record after their 7-5 league win over Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA).

The Cavaliers (0-5) will now prepare for their test against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Vikings enter the GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 6 contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, First Presbyterian Day was routed by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 1-0, in a league contest.
