Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA) boosters were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the visiting Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Central Valley (Stuart, IA). The Wildcats enter the West Central challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, West Central Valley was tipped by Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Nodaway Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
