Virginia High School Volleyball - Albemarle can't get by Freeman
September 4, 2025: Richmond, VA 23229 The Freeman Mavericks edged the visiting Albemarle Patriots volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mavericks face the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) in a Colonial game, on Tuesday, September 9. Freeman will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.
The Patriots (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Stafford (Falmouth, VA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Stafford nudged Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 3-2, in a league outing.
