Unity Eagles (Balsam Lake, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Amery Warriors (Amery, WI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Macks come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, McDonell Central beat Barron (Barron, WI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Amery will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Chieftains go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI).
