The Morrill Lions topped the visiting Bayard Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arthur County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Morrill will play a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE). The Wolves record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Bayard drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Banner County (Harrisburg, NE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9.
