In Thursday's league challenge, the host Evergreen Valley Cougars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Christopher Cougars.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Gunn was edged by Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
