The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Benson Tech (Portland, OR). The Astros enter the 6A Portland Interscholastic battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Benson Tech dropped by Southridge (Beaverton, OR), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sherwood for a 6A Pacific battle on Tuesday, September 9. Newberg will encounter a Bowmen squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Bowmen record now stands at 1-1.
