Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL) and the visiting Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL), saw Donovan's volleyball squad nudge Grant Park by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Donovan upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Urbana University (Urbana, IL) to meet the Illineks in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 6. The Illineks enter the contest with a record of 0-3.

Next, the Dragons meet the Newark Norsemen (Newark, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 6. Grant Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Norsemen enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL).
