September 4, 2025: Drake, ND 58736 The Drake/Anamoose Raiders nudged the visiting Washburn Cardinals volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Raiders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Harvey for a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. Drake/Anamoose will play a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Washburn drops to 0-1 on the season. The Cardinals host New Salem (New Salem, ND) to confront the Holsteins in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. The Holsteins go into the game with a record of 1-0. New Salem won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND)
