Mississippi High School Volleyball - Strayhorn crushed by East Union
September 4, 2025: Blue Springs, MS 38828 In Thursday's league bout, the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS), by a margin of 3-0.
The Urchins now possess a 22-3 record. They play next when they travel to Myrtle for a Class 2A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 9. East Union will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Strayhorn drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Horn Lake lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Hernando (Hernando, MS)
