West Virginia High School Volleyball - Fort Frye over Point Pleasant

September 4, 2025: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Fort Frye Cadets volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Point Pleasant Big Blacks.

The Cadets (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Buckeye Trail was beaten by Tuscarawas Central Catholic (New Philadelphia, OH), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Big Blacks face the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Point Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, WV).
