September 4, 2025: Yamhill, OR 97148 Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gaston Greyhounds (Gaston, OR), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Yamhill-Carlton improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Catlin Gabel won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR)
Next, the Greyhounds meet the Columbia Christian Knights (Portland, OR) in a 2A Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mannahouse Christian Academy (Portland, OR).
