September 4, 2025: Newark, DE 19702 Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Red Lion Christian Academy improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host ASPIRA Charter (Newark, DE) to meet the Wolves in a Non-Conference challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. ASPIRA Charter lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE)
Next, the Dragons meet the Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE) in a Blue Hen - Flight B challenge, on Monday, September 8. Glasgow will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to ASPIRA Charter (Newark, DE).
