September 4, 2025: Ferguson, MO 63135 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley Bulldogs (Ferguson, MO) and the visiting Hazelwood West Wildcats (Hazelwood, MO), observed STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley's volleyball team top Hazelwood West by a tally of 3-1.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against McCluer (Florissant, MO). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Charles for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Hazelwood West will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Holt (Wentzville, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
