September 4, 2025: Stamps, AR 71860 The Lafayette County Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Smackover Buckaroos to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Emerson for a 2A 6 outing on Tuesday, September 9. Lafayette County will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Smackover (Smackover, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Smackover drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Buckaroos travel to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR) to confront the Cardinals in a 3A 6 game on Monday, September 8. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 3-2. Harmony Grove won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Magnolia (Magnolia, AR)
