Michigan High School Volleyball - Lee overwhelmed by West Michigan Aviation Academy
September 4, 2025: Wyoming, MI 49509 West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lee Legends (Wyoming, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Michigan Aviation Academy improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The travel to Zion Christian (Byron Center, MI) to play the Mountaineers in a Alliance challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Zion Christian won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI)
Next, the Legends play the Morley Stanwood Mohawks (Morley, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Mohawks go into the test with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 league win over White Cloud (White Cloud, MI).
