Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) and the host Wahoo Warriors (Wahoo, NE), observed Milford's volleyball team top Wahoo by a tally of 3-0.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Fillmore Central was beaten by David City (David City, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Standing Bear for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Wahoo will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-0.
