The New Covenant Gryphons volleyball team (Lynchburg, VA), was beaten 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA)

The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Western Albemarle was beaten by Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gryphons meet the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a VISAA Division 2 challenge, on Friday, September 5. New Covenant will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA).
