Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Thunder Ridge Longhorns (Kensington, KS) and the host Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS), observed Thunder Ridge's volleyball team top Northern Valley by a count of 2-0.

The Longhorns (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Plainville (Plainville, KS). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Plainville was knocked off by Oakley (Oakley, KS), 2-0, in a league contest.
