In Thursday's league challenge, the host Savannah Christian Raiders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Vincent's Saints.

The Raiders (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA). The Wolverines come into the 1A Area 3 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Woodville-Tompkins was nudged by Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Saints meet the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. St. Vincent's will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Blue Tide go into the test with a 11-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Groves (Garden City, GA).
