The Vista del Lago Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Whitney Wildcats to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Bella Vista for a Capital Valley Conference outing on Monday, September 8. Vista del Lago will play a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Grant (Sacramento, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-3.

The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles go into the Sierra Foothill League game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Del Oro nudged Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
