The Giles Spartans topped the visiting Auburn Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Wythe for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Giles will confront a Maroons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Galax (Galax, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 3-1.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Bland County was knocked off by Grayson County (Independence, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
