September 5, 2023: Bakersfield, CA 93312 The Centennial Golden Hawks held off the visiting Monache Marauders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Golden Hawks now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tehachapi for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Centennial will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
The Marauders (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Lemoore (Lemoore, CA). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Lemoore held off Immanuel (Reedley, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
