Virginia High School Volleyball - Westfield can't hold off Wakefield School
September 5, 2023: Chantilly, VA 20151 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Wakefield School Fighting Owls volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Westfield Bulldogs.
The Fighting Owls (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against McLean (McLean, VA). The Highlanders come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, McLean nudged Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 11. Westfield will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Stallions come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA).
