Georgia High School Softball - Rome bounces Coosa
September 5, 2023: Rome, GA 30165 Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), 20-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Armuchee for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. Rome will battle a Indians squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Indians record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Coosa falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Christian Heritage lost 22-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Chattooga (Summerville, GA)
