September 5, 2023: Savannah, GA 31404 Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Herons clash with the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 5. Brantley County will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Blue Tide come into the match with a 1-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA).
With the loss, Johnson drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Atomsmashers host Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA) to clash with the Raiders in a 3A Area 3 match on Thursday, September 7. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 11-4.
