September 5, 2023: Covington, LA 70433 The Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) volleyball nudged the visiting Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Northlake Christian upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Wolverines host Hammond (Hammond, LA) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 6. The Tornadoes go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Hammond lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA)
The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host St. Joseph's Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7. Fontainebleau will face a Redstickers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Redstickers record now stands at 5-2.
