September 5, 2023: Myrtle Creek, OR 97457 The South Umpqua Lancers topped the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lancers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gervais for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. South Umpqua will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Glendale (Glendale, OR). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Glendale gained a win over Prospect (Prospect, OR), 3-0, in a non-league test.
