September 5, 2023: Picayune, MS 39466 The Picayune Maroon Tide volleyball team (Picayune, MS), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS)
The Bearcats (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hancock (Kiln, MS). The Hawks enter the challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Hancock defeated West Harrison (Gulfport, MS), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Maroon Tide meet the Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS) in a Class 6 Region 7 challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Picayune will attempt to move on its 2-15 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to George County (Lucedale, MS).
