West Virginia High School Volleyball - Ripley tips Ravenswood

September 5, 2023: Ripley, WV 25271

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) and the visiting Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV), saw Ripley's volleyball squad nip Ravenswood by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Vikings host Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to play the Big Reds in a Mountain State bout on Thursday, September 7. The Big Reds go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Parkersburg lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against George Washington (Charleston, WV)

The Red Devils now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to James Monroe for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Ravenswood will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-1.
