September 5, 2023: Spooner, WI 54801 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI) and the visiting Siren Dragons (Siren, WI), saw Spooner's volleyball squad beat Siren by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Spooner upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Rails travel to Grantsburg (Grantsburg, WI) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Grantsburg won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Unity (Balsam Lake, WI)
The Dragons now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Webster for a Lakeland - West bout on Thursday, September 7. Siren will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 9-2.
