September 5, 2024: Crane, OR 97732 The Crane Mustangs (Crane, OR) football trounced the visiting Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR), 59-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cove for a 1A Special District 2 (8 Man) outing on Thursday, September 12. Crane will face a Leopards team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Enterprise (Enterprise, OR). The Leopards record now stands at 0-1.
The Prospectors (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pilot Rock/Ukiah (Pilot Rock, OR). The go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Pilot Rock/Ukiah was ripped by Powder Valley (North Powder, OR), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.
