In Thursday's non-league game, the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers (Frisco, TX) football team overcame the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), by a tally of 36-21.

In their next game, the Trail Blazers battle the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 game, on Friday, September 13. Lebanon Trail will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 36-35 non-league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX).
