September 5, 2024: Chapin, SC 29036 The Chapin Eagles felled the visiting Spring Valley Vikings football team by a score of 30-21 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Chapin will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 26-7 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, SC).
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Copperheads go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Catawba Ridge overcame Chester (Chester, SC), 36-0, in a non-league bout.
