September 5, 2024: Griffin, GA 30224 Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), 28-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Griffin improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Sandy Creek won 46-0 in their recent league battle against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
The Panthers now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Whitewater for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Starr's Mill will play a Wildcats team coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
