The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pinecrest for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. New Hanover will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Northside - Jacksonville drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs host White Oak (Jacksonville, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12.
