California High School Volleyball - South Hills can't get by Burroughs
September 5, 2024: West Covina, CA 91791 Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Burroughs improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA) to face the Dons in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Dons go into the test with a record of 5-2. Santa Barbara won 2-0 in their recent league test against Oxnard (Oxnard, CA)
The Huskies now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Covina for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. South Hills will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Monrovia (Monrovia, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
