September 5, 2024: San Jose, CA 95118 Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pioneer improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 1-2. Piedmont Hills won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA)
The Panthers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a test on Saturday, September 7. Presentation will encounter a Fightin' Irish squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 1-1.
