September 5, 2024: Bridgeport, CT 06605 Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bassick advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Notre Dame Prep lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT)
The Yellowjackets now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Xavier for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10.
