September 5, 2024: Hillsboro, OR 97123 Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Churchill advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Gresham (Gresham, OR) to clash with the Gophers in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Gophers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Gresham lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR)
The Spartans now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oregon City for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Hillsboro will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Benson Tech (Portland, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.
