Minnesota High School Soccer - Lake City knocks off Schaeffer Academy
September 5, 2024: Lake City, MN 55041 The Lake City Tigers soccer squad scored 11 points and held the visiting Schaeffer Academy Lions to 2 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Caledonia for a Class A Section 1 bout on Saturday, September 7. Lake City will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Schaeffer Academy moves to 0-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Loyola (Mankato, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 12.
