West Virginia High School Soccer - Parkersburg South toppled by Morgantown
September 5, 2024: Morgantown, WV 26501 Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Morgantown moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mohigans travel to Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-2. Trinity Christian won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV)
The Patriots now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeling Park for a Two Rivers test on Tuesday, September 10. Parkersburg South will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.
